 Concrete Cover Block in Nepal

Concrete cover block is used in concrete reinforcement while Construction of the house. Concrete cover block provides proper covering of TMT rod. It helps the reinforcement to be covered in concrete mixture. It provides the gap that is needed to cover the reinforcement that is TMT bar. Using concrete blocks provides proper spacing and does not allow the TMT rod to be faced towards the atmosphere. Due to this it protects the TMT bars from being rust. Concrete cover block also provide good strength to the structure. Due to use of concrete cover block the structure will be long lasting and strong forever. There are varieties of concrete cover block used for various purpose for providing proper spacing between the enforcement and the concrete mixture.

1. 20-25mm small Concrete Cover Block 

Concrete Cover Block 20-25mm is used normally in slab and beam of reinforcement. It provides proper Covering for slab and beam of the house that uses reinforcement and concrete. 20 mm provides proper spacing for the slab reinforcement while 25 mm is used for covering The Beam area. The small concrete cover block  20-25 mm does not provide the exact measurement. It only provides covering from 16 mm to 20 mm.

2. 20-25mm Medium Concrete Cover Block 

This concrete cover block is similar to 20-25mm small cover block but it is a little bit bigger in size due to which this concrete cover block is more stronger and even better performing and provides exact the measuring 20-25 mm to the structure. The 20 mm side of cover block provides  exact 20 mm covering to the slab while 25 mm side of cover block provides exact 25 mm covering to the beam.

3. 20-25-40-50mm - All in one Concrete Cover Block 

This concrete copper block 20-25-40-50mm is universal concrete cover block that can be used for overall purpose for covering enforcement bars. The 20mm side of this cover block can be used for slab covering while 25 mm side of this cover block can be used for beam covering, the 40 mm side of this block can be used for pillar or column covering while 50 mm side of this cover block can be used for footing or Raft normally known as hathi paila in Nepali. People mostly by discover block for covering the column or pillar. This cover block is not recommended for covering the raft or footing because of it's size. The width of this cover block is small due to which it may not beer the load of concreting or can fall and makes the column disalign from its original position.
